SCOPE OF THE QUALITY SYSTEM

QUALITY POLICY AND OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY
The management of INGENIERÍA Y MONTAJES RÍAS BAJAS, S.A., company dedicated to the design, manufacturing, assembly and repair of boilers, pressure vessels, petroleum plants, steel structures, steel piping, boilermaking and machinery in general, has set a strategic objective to develop its activities in a competitive way appropriate to the needs of its customers, and with good conditions of safety and health at work.
By this Quality Policy and Occupational Health and Safety, IMRB, SA undertakes:
- Achieving full customer satisfaction by providing services in conformity with the requirements and technical specifications set explicitly or implicitly, and appropriate regulatory standards, striving to exceed their expectations.
- Prevent damage and deterioration of the health of workers through the establishment of organizational and technological measures that are timely.
- Ensure compliance with OSH legislation applies to activities and to respect other OSH requirements set by customers or made voluntarily by IMRB, SA
- Promote the principle of continuous improvement in the organization as a standard for achieving better quality products and services performed, the performance of the Occupational Health and Safety of the company, and the effectiveness of the System of Quality Management and OSH.
- Collect and analyze data available about the performance of the Quality and OSH processes, to identify possible areas for improvement.
- Establish periodically quality and OSH objectives, with annual minimum frequency, taking this policy as a framework of reference.
- Train employees continuously, so as to ensure their professional competence for work performed and knowledge of the slogans of applicable Occupational Risk Prevention.
- Review of this policy periodically to ensure it remains appropriate to the purpose of the organization and the nature and magnitude of the identified OSH risks.
To acomplish with this Policy, IMRB, SA has established an Integrated Quality Management and OSH in accordance with the UNE-EN ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001. This system is suitable for the purpose of the organization, and is focused on defect prevention rather than to correct them, with special attention to monitoring and strengthening of the processes.
The Directorate of IMRB, SA communicate this Quality Policy and OSH to all persons working for the organization or on its behalf, ensuring his understanding and support, in order to make them aware of their individual obligations to acomplish with the requirements established Quality and OSH.
