The engineering department takes care usually of the design of different types of equipment such as Pressure Vessels (tanks, interchangers, boilers, etc) in agreement with the codes recognized internationally (ASME, AD-Merkblatter, European Norms of design as EN-13445 "Unfired pressure vessels", EN-13480 "Metallic industrial piping", TEMA code of tubular interchangers, Api-661 code "Air coolers", ANSI B31.1 and 31.3 of Power Piping Systems in diverse plants and petroleum plants).

EQUIPMENT:
- Components of water tube pressure boilers (tubular screens with or without membrane, steam superheaters, economizers, etc) and gas tube boilers.
- Industrial metallic pipes.
- Pressure vessels and equipment.
- Tubular heat exchangers
- Air coolers.
- Metallic structures.
- Atmospheric tanks for storage.
- Diverse transporters for different substances (endless screws, tapes, redlers, elevators of buckets, tables of feeding and unloading for wood handling, etc).
- Development of more than 150 welding procedures for all the previous equipment and cases of special joints, with processes TIG/GTAW, SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, SAW, coated electrode, cored wire.
- Development of assembly procedures for the installation, revision and maintenance of all these equipment and others, such as rotating machines (air ventilators of thermal power stations and other industrial plants, rotors, etc.)..

MATERIALS:
Carbon steels. Low alloy steels. Stainless and refractory Steel. Stainless steel duplex with austenitic metalográfica structure in ferrítica matrix. Materials with anticorrosive covering type cladding or composite (stainless carbon steel or of low alloy in the noncorrosive zone and steel or of nickel base in the corrosive zone, as much in plates as in tubes. Mixed unions of the previous materials.
